Each of the Inn's eleven guest rooms is distinctively decorated with period antiques, quality furnishings, coordinated with quilts and art work. Two-bedroom family suites are equipped with special amenities such as televisions and refrigerators to make the stay more enjoyable for children of all ages. You'll find rooms with window seats, skylights, rocking chairs, and daybeds.

The firm, high-quality mattresses sport extra pillows covered with premiere linens from top manufacturers. 

All guest rooms have private baths including three with antique footed tubs and one which meets the ADA requirements for historic inns. Each bath is outfitted with plush oversize towels, two-ply tissues, and custom formulated goats milk soap and conditioning shampoo.


The Jefferson Inn is equipped with a 54 Mbps Wi-Fi internet capability available to our guests in all rooms.


The two sitting rooms offer a delightful mix of antique, reproduction, and new furnishings. Original oils by Hargrove and numbered/signed prints by Wooster Scott, Wythe, and others grace the walls. A cable TV is available to check the weather or the score of the big game. The cupboards contain an abundance of board games for all ages. An ample selection of books are available on a wide range of subjects including information on local waterfalls, hiking trails, historical figures, wildlife, botanical and meteorological interests, folklore, etc.

Lodging rates include a full country breakfast each morning. Breakfast is served between 7:30 & 9:30 am. Menu items change daily. When the Inn is full, we do provide a buffet breakfast from 8:00 - 10:00 am. Guests staying for several days receive a new specialty every day of their stay, even for lengthy stays.

The dining room has a warm intimate atmosphere. The breakfast experience includes bird watching, mountain views and music. Breakfast begins with fresh fruit. Apple juice and country style orange juice are served daily. Fresh brewed coffee is available 1 hour before breakfast, a Keurig is available for use all day.  A wide assortment of imported and domestic teas are available as well as hot chocolate and hot cider in the winter. The main courses include egg specialties, breakfast meats, and locally produced New Hampshire maple syrup. Special dietary considerations can be easily accommodated for vegetarians, diabetics, lactose intolerances etc.
